Alumni of the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency and Fellowships of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, and Jacobi Medical Center
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, and New York City's Jacobi Medical Center has been educating future orthopaedic surgeons for more than 50 years. During that time, the residency program has developed into one of the largest and best training programs in the nation. Additionally the department has established advanced orthopaedic surgical training fellowships in the subspecialty areas of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery and Adult Reconstruction.
Our residents and fellows are graduate physicians from the finest medicals schools in the world. The residency program has produced over 500 Orthopaedic surgeons and at the current time has 30 young surgeons participating in the program. Our residents rotate through our three inpatient private hospials that make up the Montefiore Medical Center, our Level I trauma center at Jacobi Medical Center, North Central Bronx Hospital, and Blythedale's Children's Hospital.
